Message placeholders let you quickly insert dynamic fields into outgoing messages, which are automatically replaced with the actual contact or chat details when sent. Placeholders enhance automation and personalization for Auto Reply, Quick Reply, and Broadcast features.

What happens when you send?

When you send a message, placeholders are replaced with real values from the contact profile, group info, or current context. Language formatting is automatically adapted to the recipient's locale.

How to insert a placeholder

  1. Click the first three buttons to insert corresponding placeholders at the cursor (or at the end).
  2. Click More to open the extra drop-down and pick from more placeholders.
  3. You can click multiple times to insert several placeholders in one message.

FAQ

When exactly is {Timestamp} replaced?

The {Timestamp} placeholder is always replaced with the current sending time, so it is always up-to-date, regardless of when you composed the draft.

Are all placeholders supported in bulk/auto reply/quick reply?

Yes, the same replacement and localization logic applies in all three scenarios.

Why isn't my company/job info replaced?

If your contact profile is missing company or job title, it will default to [Company]/[Job Title]. Please update the profile or manually adjust the replacement.

What if the insert buttons aren't clickable?

This usually means the editing field is disabled. Please enable the respective editor area first.
